Social media usage by businesses (e.g., blogs, wikis, forums, micro-blogs, activity streams, social utilities, social-bookmarking, intranets and extranets), from C-level executives to entry-level employees, has dramatically increased over the past two years. As a result, a significant portion of a firm’s Electronically Stored Information (ESI) is now being generated and distributed all over the web.

Meanwhile, regulating bodies such as SEC, FTC and FINRA make it crystal clear that “every firm that intends to communicate, or permit its associated persons to communicate through social media sites must first ensure that it can retain records of those communications.”

Secondly, we believe that you, not us, always own the data. This mean that, at any point in time, you can decide to export and take ownership of the data or let us process and analyze the data further.
